I must admit that I was a bit intimidated when I first saw these shoes. I had absolutely no idea how to style them, but one of my roommates convinced me (more like gassed me when I tried them on) to make the purchase. The thing that scares me about white is that it deceives you into thinking it can match almost anything. In reality, you have to be really careful about how you style it or your outfits can appear a bit…. off. Maybe it’s just a me thing.
Anyway they were cute and inexpensive, so I took the risk.
I chose to do a simple look that would draw attention to my feet…making the boots pop a bit more.

If you can’t tell, I was really feeling the all black. It was one of my first attempts at styling these shoes, so I figured I’d play it safe and do something I was certain would come together well. At some point in the future, I may do a part two post showing how I style the boots with more color, but I think the all black will suffice for now.

And of course I wore a pair of ripped jeans…. can’t do the all black thing and not go a bit grunge right?! The one thing I regret about this outfit is that I didn’t wear high-waisted jeans. In my defense, I am currently on the lookout for the perfect pair, so I’d appreciate your suggestions if you have any!

I went for both a velvet top and puffer coat. I love love LOVE velvet, there’s something about it that adds extra depth to almost any look. Not only does it make my outfits feel a bit more special, it’s also super warm!
